Do I need to renew my coverage every year?
Yes, if you are on a private plan – Moda, Providence, Bridgespan etc, you want to make sure you review your options and renew your tax credits ever year. If you are on Oregon Health Plan you will be notified by them when it is time to renew.

Is there a penalty for not having health insurance?

What are the important dates for enrolling in 2018 health coverage?
- November 1, 2017: Open Enrollment begins.
- December 15, 2017: Open Enrollment ends. You can still buy a health plan if you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period.
